State Basketball Centre.

Wantirna South, VIC

The State Basketball Centre in Wantirna South serves as the headquarters for Basketball Victoria and a premier venue for both basketball and netball. The 8,575m² facility includes six courts—three convertible into a 3,500-seat show court—alongside change rooms, referee facilities, a social lounge, café, retail, offices, and public amenities.

Constructed with steel cladding and decorative precast concrete, the façade features 192 perforated aluminium panels, backlit to create a striking night-time landmark.

Built to international standards, the centre accommodates local, regional, and elite-level competition, offering a high-quality sporting environment that celebrates the game and inspires future generations.
